Starlight is a must-have for home theaters and cinemas for its ability to provide a visually stunning and engaging atmosphere. I mean, it's not necessary, but it just completes the look. Now, it does not mean that everyone should get it.. Some rooms you can't. For example, you may have a ton of pot lights above you, or maybe you have a very low or high ceiling. And if you are an audiophile, you may want sound panels above you. So I mean, it really depends. If it's a dark black dedicated room and you have a blank space ceiling with a couple atmos speakers.. then why not add the star lights...

I don't know about other people's movie theaters.... But I can speak about mine and why I could not go bigger. When looking in a picture/video it appears the screen is smaller and not covering the entire wall (Absolutely correct) But I want you to imagine something... When you go the back row and stand on a 1ft riser and your head is almost touching the ceiling.... and then you sit down on the chair at 3ft height you can barely screen the bottom of the screen because of the front row ahead..... There is absolutely no point of a bigger screen when you can't see it.... If your theater is HUGE and I mean like 10+ ft ceilings, 25+ft width and 40 ft length... then by all means you can go up to 200" screen.... In my case I maxed out at 120" I could not stretch my screen in height... I can absolutely stretch the screen wide (cinemascope) But I don't like the two black bars on the left and right side of the screen so I went with a 16x9 120" screen which is perfect for this room size. If I was to to put a 136" or 150" screen... the back row would not be able to see the bottom of the screen. My screen would also be touching the ceiling and I would have to place my subwoofers elsewhere too because the room is small. Hopefully that makes sense.

Hi, Thank you. Actually I left space behind the wall to do any renovations/remodeling if I need to do in the future. It makes the room sound more heavy. I don't think I would like them to be hidden or in the wall. I may upgrade to a bigger screen and then I might just change the subwoofer placement completely by putting one in the middle/behind the seats and having just one in front behind the screen... So far I like my setup but just wished to have a bigger screen from the beginning. I think that is one major mistake I made... Ali

Hi the ceilings were 9ft before any renovations. After adding double drywall, insulation, sonopans and star lighting I am at 8ft.

The projector dimensions of the room can not handle. It would be stupid to turn your head left and right throughout the movie. Yes, you can still go ahead and install bigger. I mean, i still can. But I will lose the picture quality. I went with the basics. To make the screen bigger, I have to change my projector and re adjust the speakers. This means I have to make more renovations as well. If I was to do it all over again, then yes. But this was my first built. I made some mistakes, yes. But it's still a 9/10

Thanks bro! Those surrounds and perfect for front/back row set ups. Way better than the inwall speaker. I mean they look all nice but I am more of an audiophile and what's the point if your back row cannot hear the left/right surrounds. Only Klipsch designs them like that ... It's a 100% must have and it really powers up the room!

Thanks Shahross! You are absolutely right. I don't need any amps or replacement or anything. It's been 2 years and everything is running smoothly. I have yet to turn it up all the way. I don't need to or I will go deaf. It's perfect sound and I am fully satisfied!

Hi, I am using a x6700 Denon Amp which has 11 channels (7 speakers, 4 atmos) - I don't think I need a power amp. Unless I am doing something wrong? I was using a previous model x4700 and for that I needed a pre-amp to power the height atmos speaker.

​@@raghibphotography You're not doing anything wrong. Your set up is fine, especially if it sounds great to you (& I'm sure it does). Alot of folks buy into the marketing narrative when it comes to this stuff.

I don't think anyone is really buying those. They are quite smaller and the price difference... you are better to get the ultimate luxury edition imo!
